Connecting Meta

How to connect your Meta ad accounts and Pages to ADSflow, which permissions we request, and why each one is needed.

Before you start

  • You need an ADSflow account. Log in or create one on any plan.
  • In Meta, you need admin or advertiser access to the ad accounts you want to manage, and access to the Pages your ads run from.
  • If your ad accounts belong to a Business portfolio, you need a role in that portfolio that lets you manage them.

Connect your Meta account

  1. In ADSflow, open Settings → Connections and press Connect Meta account.
  2. Meta's window opens. Press Continue with Facebook and sign in to Facebook there - ADSflow never sees your password.
  3. Choose the Business portfolios, ad accounts and Pages ADSflow may access. You can select assets from several Business portfolios.
  4. Review the permissions listed below and confirm. Meta returns you to ADSflow.
  5. ADSflow syncs your assets. They appear under Ad accounts within a minute.

What ADSflow never asks for

  • Your Facebook password, two-factor codes, cookies or browser sessions.
  • Access tokens copied from Ads Manager or other tools.
  • Permissions that no ADSflow screen uses.

If anyone asks you for these on behalf of ADSflow, do not share them and write to security@adsflow.tech.

Change or remove access

  • Add or remove assets: press Connect Meta account again and change your selection in Meta's window.
  • Re-sync: in Settings → Connections, use the sync action on a connection to refresh ad accounts and Pages.
  • Disconnect: press Disconnect and delete data. ADSflow revokes its permissions and deletes data received from Meta within 30 days.
  • From Facebook: remove ADSflow under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations. See Data Deletion.

Troubleshooting

  • An ad account is missing. Check that you selected it in Meta's window and that you have admin or advertiser access to it, then connect again.
  • Connection shows "expired" or "error". Meta may have ended the session, for example after a password change. Press Connect Meta account to renew it.
  • Some actions fail with a rate limit. Meta limits how many requests an app can make per ad account. ADSflow waits and retries automatically.
